Privacy Policy

    Effective Date: December 9, 2025

This Privacy Policy describes how Templio.ai collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our Service.

    1. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide, maintain, and improve our B2B services:

    1.1. Account & Contact Information

    • Customer PII: Name, email address, job title, company name, phone number, and billing details provided during account creation or subscription.
    • User PII: Names and emails of employees invited to the Customer's corporate account.

    1.2. User Content (Brand Material)

Logos, color schemes, font files, images, text, and other brand assets you upload to build your design system. We process this content as directed by the Customer.

    1.3. Service Usage Data

    • Information on how you use the Service (e.g., features accessed, templates created, frequency of use, interactions with AI models).
    • Technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers, timestamps).

    2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following business purposes:

    • Service Provision: To operate, maintain, and provide the core functionality of the Templio platform, including generating compliant presentations and enforcing brand guardrails.
    • AI Model Training: To internally tune and improve the accuracy and performance of our proprietary AI models. (As stated in the EULA, User Content is never used for external or public training datasets.)
    • Billing & Account Management: To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send service-related notifications.
    • Security & Compliance: To monitor usage, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations (including our obligations under the DPA).
    • Customer Support: To respond to your requests and troubleshoot technical issues.

    3. Data Processing Relationship (B2B)

    • Controller-Processor: For much of the Personal Data contained within the User Content and the list of corporate users, the Customer (your company) is the Data Controller, and Templio is the Data Processor.
    • DPA: Our commitments regarding this processing are detailed in the Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

    4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your Personal Data. We share information only in the following circumstances:

    • Service Providers: We engage third-party companies (e.g., hosting providers, payment processors, analytics platforms) necessary to run the Service. These providers are obligated to protect your data.
    • Legal Compliance: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process.
    • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition.

    5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (such as encryption, access controls, and regular security audits) to protect the data we process. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure.

    6. Your Rights

Depending on your location and the nature of the data, you may have rights regarding your Personal Data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing. Since the Customer is typically the Controller, requests related to User Content or end-user data must often be directed to your employer (the Customer).

    7. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our agreements.
